Guess my character wall!

Giorgio's Book Review

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid
My main characters are Greg, Rodrick and Rowely
The story is mainly set in a middleschool but from time to time they go into different houses and places.
The story is about a boy who goes to middleschool and does not like it in many different ways. The boys there are taller than him. He is beaten up because he always plays videogames and never goes outside to enjoy the sun or play sports.
I liked the description the writer put in the book as it gives a perfect image in your head.
I think that the writer could have put in a bit more action in the book and used more complex vocabulary.

Week 5: A's and B's rugby match by Joshua H.

On the 5th of October 2012, the A's and B's went to Northwood prep to play a rugby game. The two teams did not lack confidence at all. From the time they stepped into the pitch to the time they were eating muffins and pizza at tea, they were always victorious. The B's match went well, very well even with the end score finishing in an amazing 30-5 to us. The A's went even better, if that's possible, as they trashed the opposition 30-0. Clearly both teams passed the ball around using skills and working together. They all deserved the pizza and muffins! At the end of the day, UCS had a great match.

Community Action Day this Thursday!!

The charities chosen by everyone at school are RSPCA and Little Soldiers. Remember to have your poster ready to advertise your stall by now. Also, try not to buy things for your stall but rather use your imagination or your talents to create something unique!
I am looking forward to seeing what you have all come up with!

Week 4: rugby tournament and meeting a celebrity by Lucas K.

Last Friday the under ten A’s had a series of matches. We were undefeated until the final when we lost 1 try to 0. Five games were played by the A team, four of them were 15 mins and the final 30 mins. Every player got a medal and met Saracens/England player Alex Goode. Mr Lall Chopra was coaching with Mr Warwick referring some games. Overall it was a very successful day.
